Dini is well known for his printing of houses from a mixture of sand and a binding material derived from sea water. His lecture starts at 19.00 at the NAIM. The immense size of his 3D-printer can be seen on Dini’s site.
While on the subject: DUS Architects in Amsterdam is developing a 3D-printer that can print complete rooms. This Super-Ultimaker will be housed in a 20 foot shipping container that can travel to locations. When tilted vertically it can print walls up to 3 meters high. kamermaker.nl
