Doodle3D new app
Remember Doodle3D, the spin-off from FabLab Amersfoort by Rick Companje ?
Rick mails: We are working on a brand new Doodle3D appl! It has been in internal development for a good 8 months and it is now at a point where we can start showing it off and sharing it with the world.
If you are following us on facebook you may already have seen the first images come up in your newsfeed.

Our new app is a vector-based drawing interface using the browser, similar to our first app.
It will be a standalone application capable of many export options besides wireless printing to a WiFi-Box.
We designed it with the intent to be a more complete way to make and express creativity, while retaining most of the simplicity of our first app.
We are sticking with the design concept of ‘2D+1 = 3D’ We now have a fully fledged 3D view of the object you create with its own 3D toolset.
There are a bunch of new tools, including a fill tool; finally you’ll be able to print actual solid shapes with Doodle3D.
It is currently in alpha, with an early access beta somewhere within the next 2 months (or ‘soon’)
A lot of interface elements are still going through a lot of changes, and a lot of what we’ve planned is not in the app yet.
There will be a new kickstarter campaign to help us finish development on this new app and to be able to continue to improve it. We hope you will be with us when we do. If you have questions or comments feel free to contact us directly at info@doodle3d.com.
