Kaasfabriek FabLab Alkmaar has landmark

Today a huge mobile crane erected a 40 foot (= 12 meters) container as the tower of the Kaasfabriek fablab building in Alkmaar.

The ‘nave’ consist or three other 40 ft containers. From the outside they just look stacked, but on the inside walls have been openened and now there is a cosy fablab: insulated, double glass window panes, power, LAN and a pellet-heater. Well fit to give workshops, even in winter. On Saturday March 8 there will be the official opening.
