Project EGG at Dutch Design Week 2014

Michiel van der Kley’s Project EGG makes its debut at the Design House in Eindhoven. The work consists of 4760 unique 3D printed ‘stones’.
Many of our FabLabs contributed to it by printing stones.

 

 
An elegant lady in red named Rozemarijn remarked that looking inside and around the EGG gave her the same experience as looking inside and around Anish Kapoor’s ‘Leviathan’ in the Grand Palais in Paris in 2011.
The light plays with the work and the work plays with its visitor. Click the pic for bigger.
