RElab Liège is open !

Yesterday the RElab in Liège opened in the hearth of the historic center. They have a remarkable facade, old fashioned maker style. Inside is modern gear.

The lab is full-blown, but the space is tight: they even had to cut a hole in the wall for the protruding tube of the laser cutter.
We handed them our traditional opening present: the FabCharter, this time in impeccable french. My speech did not have that quality, but at least I tried.

One of the labs benefactors is the Province de Liège. We spoke to mr. Paul-Emile Mottard, deputé provincial, who had shown interest in a fablab in a container. We could show him Alkmaar’s Kaasfabriek nomadic containers progress.
