StartLab Afbramerij in Ulft is open

Last Saturday the Startlab opened in the former DRU iron factory in Ulft. To symbolize the connection between past and present an Ultimaker printed the logo of the StartLab, the print was used as a template in formsand, in which the logo was cast in metal.

Kids could use the new program Doodle3D, where they can draw something on an iPad, pull it up to 3D and twist it. When they hit ‘print’ their creation is printed on the Ultimaker. Instantaneously. No adults required.
